I remember Dave and Mary Hockney running the tote for this from their house in Omund... I also remember my mom sending me around to Mary with a brown envelope with money in it to place a side bet whilst my father was getting pissed in the SPortsmans..

My father also recounts a story of a charter plane flying from Oranjemund to Durban in the 70's , he went with his mate, Peter McManus on that flight,,,, quite a few stories to tell

@ Mike, I remember that too. Was always a big buzz in Omund those days with the charter plane and all. I was running my own tipping service before I went to kuwait in 2004 and made lots of money. Anyway I have submitted the selections that come out of my programme, might just be good to play each way on the selections I have posted. Have a great day.
