You van't find his name because you are looking under the wrong letter of the alphabet.  You should be looking under a for L for lunatic!!!

With reference to number plates when we first arriced in the fifties, o'mund cars had the letter "L" (I think that  because Oranjemund was a "private" town we fell under Luderitz), it then became "OL" (which clashed with some dorp in the Free State), and finally "SC".
