I don't think he will have his day.... I think he will die peacefully in his sleep.... and a great bloody big statue will be put up in the middle of Harare in his honour... Any of you lot know/knew of Wrex Tarr? I was just downloading some of his stuff from Youtube.... Nostalgic humour....

That is incredible.... I believe on Friday they just chopped off a whole pile of the Zero's in their currency.....

They ahd to .. theres no computer that can handle such huge amounts .. also the banknote would be too short if it carried on .. what to do ??  keep on printing the 0000 's around the back ??   such a f... joke ...

Next thing you know will be that they only print one side of their banknotes like in Germany during WW2.

Wow!!! Wrex Tarr certainly brings back memories. There was a guy at boarding school in Windhoek who lived in Zambia and he had an audio cassette of one of Wrex's shows from the 60's or 70's (Rhodesian comedian/musician if I'm not mistaken). I would compare Wrex to SA's Pip Friedman in a way. We used to listen to the cassette over and over. It would be great to hear it again as we were too young to recognise any political undertones in the songs and stories if their were any at all.
