I have no idea, except that it is up in the Northern areas... I know when I went to Luderitz on a mine tour once, we went to big bay, I remember seeing a plant type structure in the distance,,,,, but that was years back....

Its a big bay (Grossen: "Big") about 10 kms south of Luderitz - I dont know if they ever mined there. I always thought that Agate Beach was there but I could be wrong.

I know of a boat wreck on the beach at Grossebucht, don't remember seeing any plant there... that was back in 1992/3
