So moet 'n trip mos beplan word!

Net so hint - Boshof het net so lekker "restroom" - sommer so in die hoofstraat.  (Eenkeer het 'n agent my daar gevra waar ek vandaan kom -  se ek hom van Kathu af.  Wil hy weet waar's Kathu -  se ek hom net halfpad tussen Kat-one en Kat-three. Ek dink hy soek nou nog - he he!

Great stuff - sien julle daar!

Hi Delene

My sister Julie has been to Kathu and know the De Villiers family, the eldest son is Alfred then theres a Hendrick and their dads name is Johan. Shit, now she remembers the sisters the youngest sister moved back from Potgietersrus with a baby and the elder sister is Janine who lives in JHB. She would like to know if you know this family.

this damn lot are getting me to type, I'm gunna start asking Mike for commission with all this damn work I got to do....hehe

No, don't know them, but I could find out if they are still here - not to difficult to do that.  Will let you know.  Does she want to contact them - should I try to get phone numbers?

There is another guy here in Kathu who used to live in Oranjemund -  Louwtjie Theron.  His father was also called Louwtjie.  Oh yes, and Kobus Loots (in the mid 80's) - big ou.  I have also seen uncle Bill Williams, Norman and Marlene's dad - their mother was a teacher -, here in Deben when they came to visit his brother who farms near Deben.    He recognised me first - it was shortly after I had appeared on the Noot vir Noot show - told me how proud they were to see an ex-Oranjemunder on TV.  That was about 10 years ago.  I should call up his brother and ask him about the Williams's.

Thanks for the reply Dalene, Julie thought you lived in Katu and just thought you might know them.

So did you make Julie use the straw as well?

She's not as far away in the kop as you may think.  I live on a farm between Kathu and Olifantshoek, but my offices are in Kathu, Kuruman and Olifantshoek.  My main base is in Kathu, so I can easily trace the De Villiers family here - just call 'tannie Magriet' at the info office in the mine and tra-la-la......  she will know if they are still around here.  She's sort of my 'nommer asseblief' sentrale tannie.

Hi Dalene

Charmain

Dalene Steenkamp (Coetzee)
