... I just love my neighbourhood.. we doing a potluck this Sunday for lunch .. Bruce our neighbour down the road has organised it .. evrybody has to bring something .. there will be a toal of 30 of us including kids .. So I'm starting on a huge pot of bean and butternut curry ... will have to tend it for three hours to cook to perfection .. summers coming soon there will also be the impromtu braais in the lane .. we have a small town enrgy in the city ..

Your neighbourhood sounds really great Sandy - a little bit like Oranjemund! I can just imagine all the adults sitting around chatting and eating and the kids running up and down playing together!

Yup the impromtu braais .. something .. typically end of a hard day or maybe a sat afternoon ... wander out into the lane glass of vino in hand .. if there neighbours .. its chat .. another glass or two and then " mmm maybe we should light a fire for supper .. " we know the rest ..
