And beer after toothpaste makes such a great tastebud tingling sensation in your mouth you will want to skip that unhealthy full continental breakfast anyway. How's that for promoting a healthy start to the day.

Continental breakfast??
Isn't that just rolls with jam and coffee??

Okay! now I see. The beer doesn't fit in...

Dunno. I meant the one with bacon, eggs, sausages, toast, tomatoes, hash browns, etc (omeletes optional) all fried in a thick layer of artery clogging grease.

Ok, that's definately not the one I was referring too.

I was talking about the good old South African "boereontbyt"...

Generally referred to as an English breakfast!

Carl Wrbka

Thanks for clearing that one up Ricky.

Ahem!..........Don't you mean Full Irish breakfast???

Ricky Barron (RIP)

It's possible that the Irish folk might lay claim to this particular breakfast combination. However, there is generally no alcohol involved, and I have yet to meet an Irishman who can eat without drinking. Moreover, if we could agree to allow you to hijack a "full Irish lunch" may we not continue to refer to the first meal of the day as "English"? Please.......Besides, most menus in S.A. would have to be reprinted to satisfy your request!

Rhona

Tch! Tch! Tch! - Who ever heard of a full Irish lunch? what does that consist of 3 pints of Guiness and a couple of hot whiskeys........you and I both know it's an 'irish breakfast' - no paddy worth his salt would sit down to a full english  23_146_26
