I think we're going to need a new topic board for school projects!

The girls started back at school today and Shannon came home having to look for pictures of uses of water - not too difficult - and then she's got an oral for next week along the lines of what to do when there's no water! I'm hoping she'll get a bit more of a guideline tomorrow so we can have more of an idea but if not we're going to go with what to do when you're stuck in the desert with no water!

Rosemary - I hope you're reading this!

Thank goodness for the power of the internet - what did we do when we were kids I wonder!

I haven't seen Cameron yet so I can only wait in anticipation to see what interesting homework she has for me to help her with!

Mike, the Spar is closer to the library than the house?  Go look for the purple encyclopedias, it's on the opposite side of the Astrix books!

are the wheels and base missing or the bits recovered -
I have seen the base and wheels of trolleys used for kid mobiles - what we called go karts

The base and wheels are missing, just the red top baskets were found...some little bastard is driving around town in a luxury Go kart at Spars Expense..... more than Likely David long is using them as a spare car now that he rolled his real car in the dunes......   :nono1:

Why don't you do like they have here.

The trolleys are chained together and you have to put £1 in the slot to undo the chain to get a trolley and when you take it back and put the chain back in you get your £1 back//

idontknow

Rhona

We do the same here with the euro coin - save having to look for trolleys during the day, cause they are all neatly lined up in the trolley bay...... course when you first bring in the idea, your customers will think your a right tight  arse but they'll soon get used to it

Michael Alexander

Inside the building or outside in a shed?

The majority of trolleys are held at the car-park side entrance to the store, with smaller lains strategically positioned throughout the car-park.......saves the shopper having to walk far to return them............will I take some photos for you?

Michael Alexander

Mmmmh! not necessary, Oranjemund is one giant carpark...

Mike, will I get the N$300 reward if I give you 3 bases for the trolleys (which I can steal from the SPAR in Kuilsrivier)? image04
