On Friday afternoon the nuclear aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt sailed into Table Bay.
One big aircraft carrier...quite impressive!!

Here are some shots I took this morning....carrier about 5 Km out.

Nice Pics Richard.....saw it as well.Went to The Waterfront to-day and saw the War "type" ship that travels with the carrier, very impressive. Apparently the carrier will not be docking...so says the "main marine guy".

That is right, the carrier may not dock because it is nuclear driven.
