Please note that some bastard, bliksem has just decided that my phone with all my numbers etc. belongs to him...

Now I have nobody's numbers and no-one can phone me.   Will let you all know as soon as I have a phone again, then ask to please pm me your contact no's again  ...   untill then, my e-mail and pm's here are my only way of communication currently.

Pardon my language, but I had just about assaulted the police constable as well.  Going to report him to the Provincial Commissioner now!

Felt the same way, Rhona.

The names I mentioned here, believe me, were not the only ones that I called him!   

I get totally furious when people steal my stuff.

Hi Dalene, sorry about the phone, I had mine stolen not so long ago when I got my new sim card with the same number walla most of the numbers where still there the only problem did you save the numbers on your phone or sim card if on your sim card they should still be there

Alfred  -  all the numbers are saved on my sim card, but the sim card was in the phone when it got stollen, so....  got to get a new sim card as well  -  just "register" the new one with my old number!  Don't know if you can still retract your numbers that way.    Did save some of the contacts on my phone to my pc, but not all.....   

No matter what  -  still want to kill the f&*&r who thought it good to just pick up my phone 'accidentally' when he walked out my office!

I thought your numbers on the sim card are on the service provider eg vodacom and when your apply for a new sim with the same number the new sim is linked to the same numbers saved previously maybe I'm wrong just a thought

Don't think so.  They told me today that all my contacts info & saved messages etc will be lost as it cannot be transfered to the new sim card.

Got a new phone today with temp sim & number  (pay as you go).  Still trying to figure out how the phone works  -  ha ha.    This HTC computorised thing with many gadgets and stuff  -  e-mail, windows & whatever.  Even got a little pin thing you use on the screen.  Touch pad screen ....  my technical brain has never developed, so...  maybe gonna sit here all night till 5 am to figure out how to set the alarm for 5am...   Have to be on my way to Vryburg again at 7am...
