@ Paul......nicely worded note there, my friend - but you forgot to mention just one minor detail - let's see if you can recognise the flaw in this sentence......
Ex-residents and people with an interest in this town from as far as Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom and Australia

Well - what about The Emerald Isle? mmmm? I'm waiting!!!.......and you think you have a holiday home in the rain - hah!  :nono1:  swink

 woo_hoo        daman                congrats

And with all this I just have to say:    YOU ARE ONE LUCKY MAN TO HAVE A WOMAN LIKE MICHELE BY YOUR SIDE!  YOU BOTH DESERVE THIS AWARD.

Life becomes harder for us when we live for others, but it also becomes richer and happier. Friendship is a sheltering tree.

Mike congratulations to you on your award and may you and Michelle get many more!!

Two names Debby and I will never forget – not that my nephew's name is Michael and niece's name is Michelle – but for what you guys did for us ex Oranjemunders over the reunion long weekend.

Words cannot describe the gratitude and appreciation we have for you guys for arranging this for us. We were so happy to be back in town again, even though we did not show it. We left town with very heavy hearts and the conversation in the car back to Cape Town was strangely a lot less than our drive to Oranjemund.

Thanks again for allowing us to see that the town still has a soul, even though it may be a new one, a very good one at that, the people are the soul which keeps the town's heart beating. Keep it that way and good luck to the future of Oranjemund.

THANK YOU AGAIN!!

Richard     you  could  not have  used better  words  as above   to describe  what my  sense was on  returning  after so many years ...   yes  change .. a different  soul ,, inevitable yes .. everything moves on in life ..  it cannot be static ...  lets pray theres  enough good souls   left behind  or  new good souls moving in  to help make the difference ....
To see  sometimes  requires that you  first believe .
