I got a new house for Christmas - moved in the day before Christmas eve........also got a new printer and scanner for a new red laptop that I'm waiting patiently to arrive - come on postie!!!

Hey Carl, for about 18 months, I have had the iso image of far cry 1 on my pc, never loaded it up until today.... all your raving about far cry 2 , and my brother Paul ordering no2 from Kalahari, made me mount the image, and wow! how could I have sat for soooo long with such a lekker game on my pc and never played it..... If i have a pirated game, and I play it and I rate it, I will always go out and buy the original.... which is now on my shopping list for the next time I am in CPT.... I am stuck on that old Jap aircraft carrier, and keep getting shot when I try to get up onto the flight deck from the outside.... Grrrr! Someones gonna die tonight....

good game.... nice graphics, easy controls..... 8/10

Glad to see u'r enjoying it. Far Cry 2 is very similar, except that the story plays out in some African country run by rival factions. The bad guys are a mix of foreign and South African mercs hired in by "Executive Outcomes". A lot of the hiccups of the first far cry have been ironed out and the graphics are the best I've ever seen in a PC game. Try and get it if you can, it's worth it.

PS - If u'r sukkeling on the old Jap Carrier in Far Cry 1 allready, good luck further on. It only gets worse... 202

To be honest, I had to use "God Mode" to finish the last mission.
