Reduction of Rentals for Private Enterprise!

A petition was signed by the Private Business's in Oranjemund and handed over to the General Managers office, requesting the company to reduce the rentals they charge Private Business's ...... Bearing in mind that all these buildings were buikt way back in the day and have been paid for at least 10 times over....

On the other hand, I can see Namdeb arguing that the money derived from these rentals help to maintain the town....

They must just remember as they retrench or VS people , there will be less money circulating in the local economy and thus some of the smaller enterprises will battle to pay there rental and fold.....

It just makes sense - the company will have to adjust, it wont be good for future enterprise and the survival of the town if rentals keep the Private businesses back from delivering services that will keep the town going.
