Well, here we go..... it's payday in Oranjemund, and there ain't many folk around.... the bank used to half a mass of tate's outside the doors before opening, the ATM machines had rows of at least 20 people each.... today , we drove past.... no rows, no masses ..... no people, no local economy..... We at Spar are experiencing our worst ever financial situation.... and there seems no hope on the horizon....... if things do not pick up SOON, Michele and I will be heading south to the city...... Gee! I loved living up here.........

Oh no!  Who's going to keep E10/11 for me then, Mike?
No, sorry to hear Mike.  It must be difficult.  Here in the city they can get more feet (carrying wallets) into a shop with advertising, specials, etc.  But for you the situation is so different..... There's only so many feet in town, with only so many spending money, no matter how much you advertise.  I understand your worries.  Will be holding thumbs that things turn around soon!
We'll love you anyway if you have to move, but it wont be the same!  And I still want to come drink a beer on a dune with you!

I only intend leaving if I get no pay or OPS shuts down..... or the extreme..... if Paula returns....

Awww, hope things turn around soon.  My daughter's hubby has a Foodzone shop in Kleinmond so I can relate to the difficult times you go through.
