What Wreck is this?

This wreck lies in the Sperrgebiedt, the Northern areas, does anyone know what kinda ship it is? and the name? WHy is it here?

Where is this wreck...near Ebay?

A ship named FREAN went ashore in the middel 1950's near Ebay, or was that the one at Port Nolloth? Oh dear can't remember.

If these photographs are as old as I think they are, I suspect that this is the vessel that run aground on the northern beach of the main bay at Luderitz - just north of Agate Beach. I'm not sure when it happened but, if it is the same wreck that I'm thinking of, it doesn't look anything like, this today. These day there're just a few remains of the hull in situ. Maybe Clint or one of the guys up at Luderitz can go and take a couple of pics of what's left? It's not very impressive!

My cuzz in Luderitz wonders if it isn't the wreck of the engine-less "barge" used for oyster/mussel growing which lies on the beach in Flamingo bay. The picture attached is one he took from a helicopter recently.
Just a thought.
