I think all we need to do is wait 3 to 6 months and watch the price come down if there are no takers.

Pity I dont have the money or I would buy and then undercut Alfred and rent for N$9999,98.

The Yanks are great, have two brothers 202 living their, and there was this story about the US dollar.

To counterfeit its quite hard because of the material its printed on, so you would think well yes
the Americans in their wisdom would not have a problem. rooster

Here in Australia the bank notes are made up of 100,50,20,10,5 dollar and they come in different
colours and sizes.

Not so our American cousins because the one dollar note its the same size as all their other notes.
So the story I heard was the counterfeiters bleached the one dollar notes and then printed a one hundred
dollar note making a $99 profit.

I reckon the paper that is used for the Zim dollar must be worth more than the actual value of the currency.

If you guys want to see an outragous modern currency, have  look at the Dutch guilder - very colourful.  Our Aussie ones arent too bad.

The ND is linked to the rand, that's how I see it, so the cost of living in Nab is the same as it is in S/A.

Michael you can answer this, I hope? what is the price of unleaded petrol whats the price of beer, bread, newspapers
whats the interest rates over there.

In OZ we are paying around $1:10 a liter (depending what state you live in) for unleaded petrol, bread from $2:50 newspapers
$2, a beer 10oz pot (half pint) in the clubs $2:50 and the interest rates are around 5 percent.

The interest rates dropped sharply over the last few month about 4 percent.

It will be the same for you Malcolm in Tass...........................Frank

Hi Frank

Petrol is about $1.25 here in Hobart after reaching a high of about $1.80 late last year.  So its about 10-15 cents more than other states.
Electricity prices increased by about 25% this year.  The drought is blamed for it as all the electricity is generated by hydro power in Tas.  Not enough water = not enough electricity, so Tas has to buy power from Victoria.

Our interest rates are great now and they reckon it will drop another .5% next month.  So it could go below 5% in the next moth or so.  A good time to buy.  I am in the process of negotiating a property in Coffs Harbour on the NSW north coast at present.  I'm glad I held off for 6 months.....

Hello Malcolm.

Yes we are a bit better off here in Queensland for fuel there is a 10cent subsidy paid by the government.
Coffs Harbour beautiful part of the world Not as good as H/B  numberone but a good investment

The news is on at the moment and its 1 Aud = 65 us cents so I will not be visiting my brothers in the near
future.

When was your time spent in Oranjemund Malcolm.

I hope Mike ( I know you will be flat out with this site) or anyone out there can fill some of the details I
mentioned in earlier posts..........................................Frank
