I was just having a look at some of the old aerial snaps of our town, and noticed how the tree's at the Freemasons were planted in the shape of a square and compass (masonic symbol) and then to the west of the power station the tree's that were planted in the letters CDM, also only visible from the air.... I then noticed (or perhaps not) that on this old snap... the 5th ave park, seems to have tree;s in a certain pattern, to all you old timers, was there another aerial pattern planted in this park back in the day?

Wow, this really is an old photo ... the rocks weren't even there yet ... Just love these aerial pictures. Can we have more. And how about a series of 'Then' and 'Now' photos. Would be amazing ...

All these types of pics are already on the forum, they were posted over a year ago in the Photograph board.... I think a lot of people tend to forget the amount of pics that are actually scattered throughout this forum, more than 2000...
