It's 02h45 and there's a plane......

It's 02h45 and I have Just awoke to the sound of a twin engine plane circling the town... as I walked down the hallway , the sound faded, i stepped out into the crisp, clear starfilled Oranjemund Night..... not a sound to be heard.....had I been dreaming?, then I I heard it, faintly at first, growing louder, and then against the western stars, flying low, landing light on, lights flashing it circled the town.......running up the west end of town, turning gently to the right as it flew above checkpoint.....heck! it was moving pretty fast....it started to line up for the runway,dropping in altitude.... it dropped behind the treeline to the east.....

I wonder what is happening, could it be the medivac plane..... we never get planes landing around here at this time of the morning......

Its 3h08 and I have yet to get to bed, I heard a strange sound......as I walked towards my computer I thought....was I dreaming? then I heard it, faintly at first,growing louder......tis was my bed calling.....Diannna Diannnna. I wonded what was happening, could it be to much wine?  No .....as my duvet rounded the corner I thought no this is it, time to snuggle in.....

As I lay in Bed, listening intently to the silent sleeping town, I heard that plane rev up her twin engines, it sounded just like the medivac plane that flew me out of here a few short months ago.,. 25 minutes had past since I had first heard it arrive during the wee hours of the Namib morning..... and then the noise increased, as she lifted once again into the dark.... heading north to Windhoek.....

No doubt, today we shall hear of the poor soul that had to be flown out.....

Aunty..... was right, Mikee was out last night ..kaaaaaalgat, having a pisssss when that plane flew over..... dorsbek from the braaaai earlier in the evening.... awesome stars...
