Sorry only saw your shout comment after posting the question.  What an awesome pic, seems Flora has not aged a day since I last saw her in the early 80's.

Hi Mavis
Spoke to Leila and she lived opposite Flora and Bill Fry in 72 4th avenue.  Flora taught Leila the basics of sewing.  She had a sewing machine and Leila used to go over there and sew on the machine.  If you are in touch, Leila says a big HI.

Yes thats right :-) Flora is her mother.  She used to work in the Shopping Centre with my mom.  Remember one year, Elizabeth and I did the wrapping of the Christmas gifts at the shopping centre and after that Flora took us both into her department and we could chose a necklace for our efforts.  Something I have never forgotten.  A big "hi3" to her and Elizabeth please Mavis :-)

Flora was married to BRIAN FRY. Eldest daghter ,Margaret,Sheila,Barbara,Elizabeth. They stayed at E4-4th ave. Brian had brother who was married to Martha (sister Fry at the hospital) One of their daughters was also called Margaret. By the way I am Floras Nephew.

Okay. Got the message. Remember your mom faintly, but never knew she was your mom. Now if I get things right you also have a sis called Margaret. I only knew your cousine. We were in Mrs. Ralphs class in 75 and 76 with Andy Morrow, Lionol?. Very small class. I think about 16 scholars. The rest of you had Zandy as a class-teacher with about 30 scholars. Haven't a clew why we were split up this way after std. 3.
Was your father also called Bill like your uncle? That's what is seems in this topic.
