New Grade 8 Senior Uniforms!

As a lot of you would know, OPS eventually got a Grade 8 (Standard 6) , and on Friday, the new Uniform's were on Display, Now, I am sure all those in Oppenheimer and Barnato, are wondering which Teacher in Rhodes house decided on the ties?

Hehehehe! All Jokes aside, I think it looks smart.....

I think the kids look smart in their new outfits. A pity all the teachers are not dressed up for the occasion.

Uniforms .. yes we hated them , but  they are the great leveller ,,  putting all the kids in  one bracket , and  helping  to  create some order and discipline ,,,  no fashion parade  as one sees   with so many Aameerican schools ..

I see they've also changed the blue on the badge to red.  It does look smart though.

As an ex staff member of OPS and a deputy Principal in New Zealand I think the kids look stunning, good on you OPS. They look great and when they get out inot the big wide world they will need to look neat and professional

They look very smart indeed.  Remember the days when the boys wore caps and the us girls wore them felt round hats?  I loved it!  And the boys were compelled to take off their caps when a teacher passed. Because it was good manners and gentlemanly.  Being an old Rhodes girl myself, those red ties rock!
