Oranjemund Gaveyard!

Whilst down at the graveyard this morning, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the place had been cleaned up. I heard somewhere that the NG Kerk had been working down there...so well done to them!

The gates and front walls have been painted... signs been put up on the gates, Yards been cleaned and plants watered...

Whilst there I took a snap or two , covering the topic that we had discussed about the number of young children that had passed on during the 50's in Oranjemund...

The other sad thing, is the number of crumbling graves, without even a name...... lost forever ...returned to nature....

I guess, if I ever had to be buried somewhere, it would rather be out here in the wide open desert, as opposed to the maitland , cramped cemetary......

Hon .. you open  up the topic then RIGHT CLICK  on the  name  and up comes the magicial little window that  asks all kind of questions  eg :  copy shortcut ..   .. left  click  click on that option ..  then  go to the  post message and once  the message  box open  , then you  RIGHT  CLICK again   and  the magic window wiil have a paste option ..  CLICK  on the paste option and Viola !!!  XXX heres to shiraz !!
