Hi guys.
Went to see my dad in hospital yesterday. He said it would be okay for me to open a topic and post pics here. (pics will follow)
After two "small" operations to his heart (stands) he started recovering fairly.seeing to the fact, that he is allergic to severil medecins things didn't work the way they should. On friday he probably had his first minor stroke, which wasn't taken serious by the doc. On tuesday early morning (actualy at night) he had a proper stroke.
Now he seems to be recovering quite well, due to him being in intensive care. His will to live and recover is strong.
We chatted and laughed for hours and it seemed, as if this way of being active helped him a lot.
So I don't know when he'll be back to do his job here.
georgswa sends his love and regards to all. He knows he ha s a family here...

Sorry to hear about your Dad George hope all goes well and he has a quick recovery.

I have spoken with him on Skype a few times, and noticed he has not been available for awhile.

He was pretty active after his Malta holiday then went quite, anyway give him my best wishes .............Frank

Thanks for the update on your fathers condition JNr,  I too always enjoyed a Skype session with your dad, I fondly remember the time my father and your father had a virtual sing a long  using Skype, your father playing the mouth organ in Germany and my father singing in Oranjemund....

Your father has always been passionate about this site and a good source of advice..... "You got to put tags on your site......" .... hehehehe!

And then their were his trips all over the place, you were always assured of high quality pics....

So saying all this...... SNR, get your brain and into gear, ge tthe mouth organ out and get healthy...

We are waiting for you....

This is the only thing I don't like being in the platteland - only getting news at short intervals when my reception allows it!
