Yes Andy D, of course, now I remember...........

I know my memory is not what it was but I have a feeling that the light in question could be fed from the sewerage station at the back of the flats adjacent to the garages there. I'm sure there is a daylight switch on the outside of the building.

Also, I'm sure that some of the occupants of the flats requested that the light be disconnected at some stage because it was too bright and they could not sleep

Mind you, I might be completely wrong...............

Mike A, you might just be surprised at how quickly they respond!!!

You've noticed the reactions to the "dying grass" and "dying trees" threads on the forum... so who lets see.

How about you put up a poll as to how soon it will be attended to... within 3 days, by the end of the week, by the end of next month, by Christmas...????

Hey Mike if you looked more closer you would have found some washing on a line and somebody's kid playing there,so thats why the lightis up and running day and night.Somebody is staying for free,free housing free water free elec and lights etc etc...

.. actually interesting you bring up the subject .. culture of nonpayment ... not that at any time I comb all under the same comb .. there are many good folk out there .. but strangely enough the demanders and yes in so many ways expecters and receivers of the " free" are in no way adverse to screwing their own over , vis demanding high rentals for backyard shacks , electricity , phonetime , anything in fact ... the so called ubuntu which should be and altruistic way of life , thinking of those less fortunate and being as neighbourly and generous as situation can provide seems null and void .. methinks thhey just following example of the fatcat parasitic politicians ... ..

It might be Sandy!! but they are usually timed to go off in the day time, there is a big push in OZ for us to go solar.

Solar water heaters installed on the roofs, and solar power panels, big incentive rebates to those people that can afford the thousand dollar installation.............................
