I meant to post this the other day, the mines and energy office in Omund got knowcked over the other day, Computers were stolen , all new stuff at that...... seems like the new alarm system was not activated at the time..... had a word with a local police officer, they suspect an inside job.........

He also muttered something about human rights...... that they know who the criminal element in town are, but do not have sufficient people coming forward or enough evidence, and if they try to evict the guys from town, like they did last year...all the politicians come hammering on the police dept doors, screaming human rights abuse.....

Wonder what they would scream if the politicians homes and offices got broken into?

Methinks  quite personally  they dont give a fig ...  after all  replacement comes out of the tax base ... so why persue the perpetrators ... unless of course  they  required to pay  in the event of personal loss .. then its  catch the f... rs ...
anything  else is redistribution via tax base ,,,    catmusic

There is a huge problem all over namibia where Computers are being stolen by syndicates for "orders" to the Angolan market.... read this in the paper, but the police officer I was talking to also mentioned this!
