Oranjemund Customs and Immigration gets Rolled!

Well, our local crime wave is gathering momentum.... Reports coming in, that the customs and immigration border post offices got broken into last night, same modus operandi as all the other breaking in's that we have been experiencing for the last 2 years in Oranjemund....... through the roof and cut the safe open with a cutting torch....... took anly money but causing extensive damage......

The police are frustrated, especially with the politicians and Joe public who were screaming blue murder at them , when they removed illegals from Omund Overnight, claiming human rights abuse.....

Well now it's government offices getting whacked here..

So who really wants proclomation now?

Well, it's election time, so let's see what happens next..?

That seems to be the way forward in African countries now days. Let them loot and rant and rave, cry human rights abuse.

There is no justice, there is no order, how can there be when the prisoner (criminal) has more rights than the victim (usually of a violent crime).

The sad thing is that as much as even the local folk cry and complain about the government and it's weaknesses they persist to vote for the same crowd every election.

As was mentioned in another topic, it's in the culture, you can not change it... just another genetic imprint.

So that's 2 government offices in less than 2 weeks in a controlled acces community... makes you think doesn't it.

Andrew with no disrespect meant  to anybody  but yes you have  the nail on the head ... sadly so  it seems to be the norm .. only the " colonialists " must be driven out ...  it seems no prob to be screwed over by your own kin ..  ideed so   the nrom seems look for  a scapegoat .. and  again guess who .. the " colonialists "   lots  of  learning to  be done .. but then again thats the sad  and strange  face of poiltics  hey ???
with regard to the robberies ..  no prob its replaced from the strained tax base ..  to some it seems an unending supply of  gelt .. sady so it aslo runs out and when that thruth hits  its then into begging  bowl  mode ... not  at all  in my book ...
