As a Doctor once said to me........... If you see a doctor whilst suffering with a cold and take all of what he prescribes, it will take 14 days to go away. If you don't see a doctor and take nothing at all, it will take 2 weeks to go away.

Like every thing else with so called remedies, it's all in the mind. A hot toddy doesn't help the cold much either but it tastes "bloody luvly"................

Michael I was watching a program last night (there are 2000 stations to chose from) it was to do with Snacks and how they are made....................jeez! no wonder every second person here should take a look at them self's !!! I know Australia has a large persons problem and its all this fast food crap.

The problem here seems to be they all want to eat out, we were at TED'S its a chain of restaurant that is owned by Jane Fonda's X husband, they serve Bison Beef if Margaret served me that crap I probable be cooking myself.

Incidentally I am cooking the Sunday roast with Yorkshire puds and roast pots.................................................................... 36_1_72............ image04

I  eat  out to treat myself ... eat snack foods  for the same reason but  so irregularly ,,  but still prefer  wholesome  home cooking .. also   most time only eat  what I can consume , unless its  so yummy then I go into  the " sin of gluttony " my father words always echoing iin my  head " neither waste food  or  go into gluttony "  and yes dessert  is  virtually never eaten excepting if its shoved in front of me  at a dinner party ( so as not to offend the host ) or again if i feel like treating myself .. lots to be said about processed food and intensive farming .. the food has negative  energy and does the body no  good ...

Sandy !! I am educating the American taste buds (I know this should be in the recipe section but its relevant) I made Hascheeknödel !! the other day, or better known as mince dumplings.

They acutely thought it would save the American population, and they said I should go ahead, and open up a chain of restaurants and go into full production ...................but then the dream faded............they said could I make it with Cheese and  Bacon chips...............are.!! well  another disappointment........... image04
