New Years Resolutions for 2010

Okay! Here we go - rapidly moving on to a new year......A new year and a new you or a new someone else - mmmm! What is the leprechaun up to I hear you ask..........well now, I think a good idea would be for members to either pick a resolution for themselves or nominate one for another member or even trade one - as in pick one for someone else and an equal one for self; course this wonderfull idea just popped into my head as I sit here on the first day of my holidays - I haven't decided yet whether a resolution can be declined but sure we have 7 or 8 days left to iron it all out...........whatcha think?

Uhm....  I'm still trying to remember what my new years resolutions were for 10 years ago....  since I think I have'nt even kept to them, I don't think I'm allowed to make any new ones ....

Rhona, I see there was a fire at a famous Brewery in Dublin a few days ago. 

On this the first day of your holidays, are you already helping to increase their profits so that the brewery can be rebuilt...........????????

Frank, you are quite right about that obnoxious word, that is why I'm giving it up, mind you though I don't know what Jenny will say...............!!!!!!!!!!!

Mmm like  Dalene's comment ... not allowed to make any new ones ...   sits right  with me ... I  too have the string of  whimsical  never achieved .. and i say whimsical ... cos if I was to do and achieve all i would be a cross between  Superman , Superwoman , Batman , his lackey Robin and for a bit of luck   Catwoman ...I know my humanity and  who I really am .. so making unachieveable promises   is futile ... I have  to  deal with life and  its own foibles ... thats good enough and teaches me  enough all along the path  .. trust me on that one ...

This years will be no different, all though! stop drinking  stop  smoking, have achieved, Margaret asked me had I giving up SEX ????????  have not got a clue what she is talking about......................what the hell was that...sex..I think its before five and after seven.

That's if you are lucky......................................................
