Oh! Whoa Betide the Town Pool!!!!

I started to swim my lengths again this year and was involved in a conversation with a chap close to the pool industry in Oranjemund......

I was astonished to see that the blue tile ring around the town pool was filthy, The source informed me that the contractor was busy scrubbing the pool walls about 2 and a half months ago and then suddenly stopped and never returned.....

The diving board has been closed of with road tape as it is rusted and in dire need of repair, I was also told that the request for this repair job had been submitted more than two weeks ago.....

The source in the pool industry also muttered that one of the boilers has also been standing since November last year, also awaiting attention. (I actually prefer the cold water, the colder the better for an enlarged chap like me....)

The chap went on to point out that when I go to the pool I must notice that there are now 2 hosepipes filling up the pool, almost running 24/7 ........ (There use to be one) ... this is due to a leaking pipe underground that they suspect might have rusted through..... this was also brought to the attention of the higher order a while ago...... still nothing.....

The source went on to say that we had to remember that there is not that many attractions to keep the kids in this town occupied and that the town pool is central to keeping the kids entertained......

Well there was a guy scrubbing the tiles at the pool.... the Garden guy was also there spraying killer..... I had a look at the broken diving board..... Seems that the bracket holding the actual board in place has rusted away, reckon Hein Van Eerden could repair that in about an hour at a good rate.......  Ahem! Cough! cough!

Whilst swimming this morning, I found the crack..... SO men in BLACK ......LISTEN up.... 

ON THE SHALLOW END,
IN THE MIDDLE OF WALL on the EAST
There is a half a metre long crack running down the wall....
