Hi Bertie, have you heard of this herb, Arnica (Arnica montana)? I've done some research but still not sure. I'm due to have some surgery done and was considering to using this for the bruising and swelling. Your input would be greatly appreciated.

Julie ,  Bertie  not  on site much  at the moment ,,,   arnica is indeed wnoderful for bruising and  sprains  sore muscles  etc ,, my understanding  of  the  use of arnica  either   by  mouth  or  applied  is good for bruising  and promotes healing , but  never take it  before surgery    as it can interfere with  the  knitting   of  the wounds and can cause  prolonged bleeding , my understanding  is one has to allow  time for the wounds to settle  a bit ,  then  start   to deal with the  taking of it ...  better so  if   Bertie  does not come  online   soon consult a  homeopathic  pharmacy ..  they will give  good  advice ...

Thanks for that Sandy. I have since found out that the tablet has been taken off the market, bad side effects. I didn't go down this route after all, thank goodness. The cream is still widely used and I believe is very good.

Thanks again for your reply, keep well
