Local Old Boys return to Hohenfels ~ 2010

Well, a few of us old boys decided to return to Hohenfels for a camp this past weekend..... it was a great weekend, with many an old tale being recalled..... the river was once again in a state of a minor flood, with water levels raised by about 1.8 m...... We worked out, that between the five of us, we had 202 oranjemund Years...... Adriaan Van Rooyen, Freddie AHrens, Gunther Salchow, Mike Stenson and Mike Alexander.

No Monkeys came to visit the camp, but we assume that's because they saw freddie a mile away.....

It still amazes me to this day, that there is a forest at this location......

Yesssss plenty fun... like running up a 300 m dune to get a cell signal because i forgot the bloody braai pan for breakfast

Ja Cherry, Ask him... who had to bring it???? Go and fetch it? only to return with it and find that the gas pipe was also missing..... Grrrrrr!

Now where would we find a girl that knows how to camp without a hairdryer and ain' afraid to longdrop in the middle of the dark wild night!

Do you know how to make a mean Potjie? Do you know when to turn the shops? And above all..... do you know in which coolbox the beers can be found?

I, Sir, Am an old an experienced hand at all things related to camping....... Make sure your braai spot is cleaned out before I get there and reinforce it with more firebricks....
