I woke up this morning with the smell of fresh sea air and the mist, but to my dissapointment, when I looked outside, it was all a dream.
Although we have a new home for now, we still miss Oranjemund and yes every little bit of it, the "skindering", the partying, the tears/laughter, the sea/river/desert!!!  Still say the a kids life in Oranjemund is completely different and innocent to a kid growing up in another town.

Just wanted to say to you all still in Omund, we miss all the familiar faces, always some one waving as you drive or walk pass them in the shop.

Oranjemund!!!!  You will always stay my home!!!!!!!
Life is given to us one day at a time.  Don't look back and grieve about the past, for it is gone.  Do not be troubled by die future, as God will provide.  Live for today and make it so beautiful that it will be worth remembering....

bravo Cheleen, I wish I could just snap my fingers and be in our town for a day or two to get that "home" feeling again...

I go there several times a week ... when I am struggling to fall asleep, i close my eyes and imagine myself walking around town. After just a few minutes, I am relaxed and all my problems of the day have mysteriously dissapeared. You should try it out.
