RIP Abel de Klerk

Abel de Klerk who sadly passed away on 1 September 2005. I am sure somebody out there will remember him. He was one super uncle to me.

You might also remember my parents (still alive), Kotie and Alta de Klerk. My dad is Abel de Klerk's brother.

Kotie,Alta, Abel those names all ring a bell...just can't place them.

My uncle's family: Abel and Coerrie with children Jaco, Marisa and Chritine.
My dad's Family: Kotie and Alta with children Jacques, Fanie and Marius. Marius was still a baby when we left. My mom sometimes worked at the movies with Fred Meyer (not sure of the spelling). My dad had to do with the constructing of the roads and was either working or just good friends wit Sarel Du Plessis who married Erna (one of the teachers, and I do not know her maiden name.

Sarel and Erna are now in Springbok.
What happened to Jaco and Marisa?  I think they lived behind us in the 70's.

Thanks Sheena. I know that they are in Springbok. They still keep in contact with my parents. To be honest with you I think that Mariza is in Upington and I do not know where Jaco is. I know they are still alive, but do not have contact with them. My aunt stays close to my parents.
