For those of you that remember my younger brother Tony Freemantle. I thought it a good idea to post a picture of Tony as I see this as a Wall of Remembrance. Tony was born on the 11th December 1955 in Oranjemund and died 25th June 1985. His death is still a mystery to all of us today. Our Thoughts and Prayers are with him, May He Rest in Peace.

Thanks Frank, I know it has been a while but decided to post for all his friends to remember him for who and what he was. We all still miss him dearly, now we know that he has found peace and rest.

I see the Tony I knew behind that moustache (had to look up that spelling). Yes us bunch back in the 60's early 70's were good friends naughty little sh*ts at the best of times. Tony and Pieter Du Toit were like the main manne at one time most of us girls had the hots for one of them at some point.
I had heard that Tony had passed away....a motorbike involved? Such a young life taken so soon. He IS remembered as when we speak of our young days in O'mund his name always comes up. He was a big part of our lives especialy in primary school. Nice to see the photo Pepe.

Hi Diana, many thanks for the kind words and memories. Yes Tony and Peter du Toit were the manne those days or so they thought and didn't they fancy you girls kiss. What's worst of all is Peter lived next door to us as you can remember. Peter virtually lived at our place and our folks said he was their adopted son. It is always good to have these fond memories of our young days.

It was a motorbike accident but there was something behind it which I can not disclose here. His death is a unresolved case to this day. I guess you will know what I mean. It is a shame that he was so young (29) and was just starting to live. He was married and had a daughter Jade.

Thanks again for the kind words and memories, keep well and best regards to Steve  bighug dawoman
