Tin Garages

Whilst "trapping" around the town late yesterday, I ventured up the dirt road next to 12th, down past a few empty houses and was surprised to learn that we still had the old style tin garages along this street.

I last walked this road about 20 years ago....

When we first moved to Oranjemund, E7-1st ave, in 1972, we had this type of garage, in fact the entire town had them..... later around 77, they were torn down and replaced with the brick version..... with two  flap doors ...
