Movies at Beauvallon!

Were any of you guy's ever camping at Beauvallon when they used to show movies outside on the swimming pool wall at night time when you were there for the weekend?

hey, i remember those movies. that's what's so amazing about this site - it reminds you of things you'd totally forgotten.  another memory i have of beauvallon is that one specific path which lead down to the river to go swim - u came to a big open sandy spot next to the river - was also a favourite spot 'cos on the right there was a tree which served as the perfect diving board into the river - a huge branch extended just the right length over the river - had to do a bit of bush-wacking to get to it but it was worth it.

I remember that path that led to the river very well..another memory I have of beauvallon is in respect of those monkeys that slyly kept stealing ones food... >:(

Claire, I hope Blue Balls is the name of a monkey?   ;D , hehehe!

Don't forget the path that went up the hill to those seats, lekker views across the campsite and the river!

I can remember going to Beauvallon to see Haley's Comet back in ?????? Not so good with dates! I went with the Redding-Jones and we camped in their combi-camper. We then climbed that hill (seemed more like a mountain at the time!) in the middle of the night to get a good view. It was really something to remember.
