Australia says NO - Second  Time she has done this  !

She's done it again.. She sure isn't backing down on her hard line stance and one has to appreciate her belief in the rights of her native countrymen.. A breath of fresh air to see someone lead. I wish some leaders would step up in South Africa, Canada & USA and the European Countries.

It took a lot of courage for this woman to speak what she had to say for the world to hear. The retribution could be phenomenal, but at least she was willing to take a stand on her and Australia 's beliefs. The whole world  needs a leader like this!

Prime  Minister Julia Gillard -  Australia

Muslims who want to live under Islamic Sharia law were told on Wednesday to get out of Australia, as the government targeted radicals in a bid to head off potential terror attacks..

Separately, Gillard angered some Australian Muslims on Wednesday by saying she supported spy agencies monitoring the nation's mosques.

Quote: 'IMMIGRANTS,  NOT AUSTRALIANS, MUST ADAPT.. Take it Or Leave it, I am tired of this nation worrying about whether we are offending some individual or their culture. Since the terrorist attacks on Bali, we have experienced a surge  in patriotism by the majority of Australians'

'This culture has been developed over two centuries of struggles, trials and victories by millions of men and women who have sought freedom'

'We speak mainly ENGLISH, not Spanish, Lebanese, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, or any  other language. Therefore, if you wish to become part of our society. Learn the language!'

'Most Australians believe in God. This is not some Christian, right wing, political push, but a fact, because Christian men and women, on Christian principles, founded this nation, and this is clearly documented. It is certainly appropriate to display it on the walls of our schools. If God offends you, then I suggest you consider another part of the world as your new home, because God is part of our culture.'

'We will accept your beliefs, and will not question why. All we ask is that you accept ours, and live in harmony and peaceful enjoyment with us.'

'This is OUR  COUNTRY, OUR LAND, and OUR LIFESTYLE, and we will allow you every opportunity to enjoy all this. But once you are done complaining, whining, and griping about Our Flag, Our Pledge, Our Christian beliefs, or Our Way of Life, I highly encourage you take advantage of one other great Australian freedom, 'THE  RIGHT TO LEAVE! If you aren't happy here then LEAVE. We didn't force you to come here. You asked to be here. So accept the country YOU accepted.'

Maybe if we circulate this amongst ourselves in South Africa, Canada & USA, we will find the courage to start speaking and voicing the same truths.

Dont mean to sound like a spoilsport  but it seems the same speech of former prime minister just been pasted and copied in again ,, a kind of  re  run ... while parts of me agree with the sentiment another part has mixed feelings .. a tricky subject : the focus bothers me .  it should just be a message  to all newcomers to any  country .. ie ; fit in or f.... off ..
I had a good  passsage sent to me about the liberals ,, and  if I can find it I will  post it here ...  hits the sweet spot ... mmmmmm

Right on, Sandy, you nailed it. Sorry to tell you Paul, you've been conned by the some Hasbaratchik. Julia Gilliard (despite her beaky-nosed ineptitude and time-serving political opportunism) didn't say that, nor did any other politician of any stripe in any country anywhere in the world all the way back to 2002 though it has been attributed to many.
In that year the original was concocted by a red neck former air force vet called Barry Loudermilk who sent it to his local newspaper in Georgia.
From there it went viral and has since with variations been floating around the internet. The first version was aimed at native Americans ( i.e. American Indians) plus any other racial group Barry didn't like. It seems it was sparked of by the Indians getting a bit uppity on the local reservation (go figure).
If used in the South African, Namibian, Australian, New Zealand or any other colonial context the only group it could acceptably be used by would be the indigenous people who occupied the land originally. The rest could all go "home" (wherever that might be). That situation might leave egg on a few faces.
The recent emphasis on Muslims as the bad guys is part of the world-wide Hasbara campaign to focus your attention elsewhere (look at all those nasty Muslims over there) while  Israel is creating hell on earth for its neighbours. It is all part of the Nightmares project aimed at scaring you into believing anything your politicians tell you.
Islam is not monolithic. Like Christianity it has dozens of sects and, like Christianity, continues to split along religious lines. Something said by one Imam is contradicted by another. If you want a list of threatening statements by Christian and Jewish speakers there are plenty to quote from. Most Christians and Jews laugh at their own radical cults and their followers, but they scare the pants off Muslims.  As for terrorism, more than 96 per cent worldwide is committed by non-Muslims (Jews, Christians, Hispanics etc) so why doesn't that frighten us? Simple, we get all our information from our Hasbara-dominated media which ensures we get the opposite impression.
If the subject really interests anyone, I would urge them to Google "The Power of Nightmares" and  download the three-part BBC documentary by that name. It will give you a full background to the misinformation system that has been royally screwing with our heads for decades.
Regards,
Bob.
Almost forgot, the safest and most secure suburb to walk around in Cape Town was, and still is today, the Malay Quarter. What does that tell us?

How do you definate crime?
Dailight robbery is something that scares the S''' out of us. But I'm sure the guys "up there" are often the real crooks. Taking advantage of any situation as long as it brings money and power. Hard to proove, but it's happening. And these buggers have so much blood on there hands....
It's the kind of crime you'l not see on the street.
