So anyhow..... we have a temp domestic, as our regular went North to have a baby.... the temp has been with us for almost a month....

I am at home today, because it's friday and the Rugger World cup started today.,....

One of those blackbirds with the bright Orange Yellow beaks flew into our kitchen about an hour ago..... decide to perch itself on the ceiling fan...... best way to deal with it, is to leave all the windows and doors wide open and leave the flying machine alone....

An hour later, I had forgotten all about the aviator, the domestic called me from the kitchen..... "Tate Mike, Tate Mike!",  apon entering the kitchen, and without her blinking an eyelid , she points to the bird perched on the ceiling fan and asks..... "Is that Tate Mike's bird?"

Well I found it funny!

For what it;s worth, the bird is still there and seems to find it amusing when you turn the fan on.....

I shall wait till the madam comes home and shrieks......

Nope Pops..... I think it might be wise of me to abstain from braaing and festivities this weekend, just sit quietly in front of the TV , sipping my tea watching the rugby, might even spoil myself with a cracker or two.....

The bird was just stunned, I took it outside to recover and it was gone later......
