Ok, today is court day in Windhoek, wonder if this will take a day or a few days...

Heard the company jet take to the skies at 06h45 this morning, no doubt heading for the Capital City.........

I also see that the Namibian newspaper reports in todays edition, that the President is now getting involved in the Strike issue...

A last minute attempt by State House yesterday to end the crippling Namdeb strike resulted in late night talks between President Hifikepunye Pohamba, Swapo-affiliated union leaders and top management of the diamond company.

I believe that the company jet should be arriving soon from Windhoek with the Union leader and Namdeb representatives........ bring a message from the president of Namibia.... me thinks that the strike is about to conclude..... wonder if the rumours about saving face from the union leadership hold any water....... they dug a whole too deep to climb out of and have now found a reason to find the ladder....

The car hooters you can currently hear on the streets outside, are the union members in their cars welcoming the union leadership back from Windhoek......
