Has anyone ever climbed out of their car at the 5th avenue Park, the one nearest police station, and actually walked through the park, the grass is busy dying around the edges due to the gardener only watering the centre of the park, there is glass, papers and condoms lying around the swings and benches..... am I the only person who can see the weed that is spreading across the grass?

As far as I know, we don't have a municipality yet, so I can only assume that the mine, through their appointed contracting company are responsible for the parks and gardens.....

The grass as you enter the town is also not looking that awesome anymore.....

Ah! Well, from desert to green and to desert we shall return..... sad about the millions that the DeBeers group invested in this town over the last 60 years now appears to be all in vain....

Just my 2 cents.....

Why isn't the company enforcing the contract...  or maybe some body told them to cut back on the water.

Waters just gone off there again...  madashell

All things electrical contain smoke. Making it come out is easy; getting it back in? ... yeah right!!!

.........to just watch plants, trees etc die....after all the work that has previously gone into
that (once) beautiful town!!!        ThatStinks2 ThatStinks2 ThatStinks2
