How do you start/end your day?

You've heard. It's cold around here. I start my day with scratching the ice off our cars.... &$$"§&&/?`%$!°

Even if cold, this is what it looks like looking over the Rhine "valley" when leaving work for home. At least a little reward...

Best part of the day starts at 5pm - work is done and relaxation starts with a double whiskey on the rocks and my feet up on the stoep watching the sun set on a warm summers day!

No pics on PC at present but view is over a koi pond against a backdrop of ferns and trees. Occasionally the quiet is broken by othe squawking of our Macaw reminding us that she need attention too.

the first thing I saw this morning was Jackie's face right up against mine trying to see if I was awake yet as she did not have her glasses on yet, I waited till she was real close then said "Goodmorning" which gave her such a fright.
