What I liked about the article, is the promising statement made by the GM that it will be at least 2 years before we see the town opening to a normal town, at last sanity prevails..... I was taking to a councillor who also emulated the words..... saying that there is a lot of technicalities that needed to be sorted out and that it cannot be a rush job , but more of a gradual phasing process.....  adding that we did'nt want to lose what the town had achieved over the last 50 years.... speaking to a number of locals..... they are extremely happy with the fact that the gates have not just been sprung open placing a burden on the council....

I see more NAMDEB jobs advertised this week in the papers.... rumours doing the rounds that we are gonna be running outta housing soon.....

Namdeb learned absolutely nothing from the last  recession.
