RE: INVITATION TO NAMDEB SOUTHERN INTER-MINES SPORTS WEEKEND


As we know sports is a social platform which for years has been used to bring employeestogether for effective relationship building, morale boosting which results in a positive impact on productivity, and is ultimately fun.

It is against this background that Namdeb is organizing an inter-mines sports weekend for mining companies operating in the south of Namibia, to be known as Namdeb Southern Inter-mines Sports Weekend.

We therefore extend an invitation to your esteemed company to take part in this inaugural event which is scheduled for the 28thand 29th of September 2012.

The sports codes we plan to host include the following:

Netball   10 km run
Volleyball   Bowls
Golf   Touch rugby
Snooker   
Darts   
Triathlon   
Angling   





Apart from Namdeb, as the host company, other participants invited to this event include: EXXARO, SKORPION Zinc, DEBMARINE Namibia, a combined Oranjemund community team (comprising of local GRN RepresentativesTeam and local entrepreneurs) and contractors(B&E, Barloworld, RJ Southey, Tyre Corporation etc.).

In order to support the organising committee with logistical arrangements, we would appreciate your confirmation indicating your company's participation by no later than 19 August 2012.
Once confirmation has been received, further details pertaining to the sports codes, rules, enrolment and other logistics will be forwarded to you.
