U13 SA Badminton Champs 2013

Well here is the scoop, The SA U13 Badminton Champs were held in Bloemfontein this past week, as per normal, pupils from OPS represented Team Namibia at the champs.

Well get ready for this one, Team Namibia took the provincial title, the girls singles title, well done to my middle child, Cameron , the boys single title, well done Herschel, the girls double title, the mixed title, all in all they took almost everything that was up for grabs..... What an honour and all from a little town in the desert.....

Congrats to their commited coach, Lyn Du Preez , all those long hours of practice paid off.....

Today , I sit in anticipation of the arrival of the champs..... Coming home to Oranjemund....

Congrats and well done to all of the Under13 Badminton team who traveled and excelled in Bloem. Also to the coaches and parents who were there to help and assist with the team
