Oranjemund ~ Tis a small world!

So I had to place an order for a Oranjemund Spar today, made the call to the supplier, when the lady on the other end wanted to know my full name.....

Turns out she was an ex Oranjemunder, Yvonne Nel. Resident from 1974-1988.

Worked with Graham Williamson down at the dentistry.

We spoke about the old days in the town and the various characters.....

Indeed an awesome way to start my Friday morning....

Husband's name is Stoffel; we worked together in the mine store @ Uubvley 1977 - 1982 and then moved to town stores.

yes remember them very well . funny. Yvonnes  brother  Stefanus P Avenant name got mixed up with his brother in law , and even today ,  Stefanus is still called Stoffel ? and he is quite happy with the wrong name
