I never thought that I would be posting this.....

For some reason or other, Bob appeared to me as a man that would go on forever, kind of like an Oranjemund Oracle......

Bob made a massive contribution to this forum, the wealth of memories never ending....
The tales he told and the names he recalled......We are blessed to have an entire section of the forum dedicated to many of Bob's writings....... and I am sure there are many more to be discovered...

The big tale I enjoyed, was the one he told of the Undersea Ghost Train when they lay the undersea pipeline to the tank farm.

I am being lazy and posting a cut and paste that I found online....
MOLLOY ROBERT MAXWELL (BOB) Died peacefully at home in Kerikeri, New Zealand, on May the 31st, 2015, aged 85 years. Dearly loved husband of Keri and loved father of Sinclair, Colleen, Siobhan, Kate and Amy. Revered grandfather of Duncan, Richard, Liam, Hannah, Daniel, Sam, Ia and Neva. Messages to Bob's family at keri2kerikeri(put the @ sign here)xtra.co.nz

I always wanted to sit around a kitchen table and listen to more of Bob's tales from his day's out here in the desert.....but I guess that will have to wait....

Condolances to the entire extended Molloy Clan.....

Stunned to hear about Bob.

Sent him my books last year and he was kind enough to pass on favourable reviews of them.

I'd made arrangements to see him in NZ in October when I went over.
An absolute gentleman and he will be sorely missed.
