Can any of the old timers help me with the date that the CFC (Central Flat Complex) was build in Oranjemund???  :ciupa1:

Thanks for the info. But that starts question 2.
When was the Bedsitters build. I know it was in 2 phases.
I lived in both the old and new bedsitters.

I moved into the new bedsitters around November 1981 (H block close to the car ramp / repair bay). They had just been completed at that stage.

I guess the year around 1980 would not be far off for the flats- bed sitters near the carpenter shop

a bad quality picture of OM early 1980 . the flats next to the rugby club not built at the time .  people with foto enhancing programs may make the picture better

One of the first to move in was Hein U with his big Ford bakkie .. I Think a F250 4x4
