Just to let you know the clocks went forward in UK so we are now only one hour behind SA.

Same here, and it takes me 4 weeks to adapt, to me thats BS.............

I believe NAM also changes these days, but a week or so later then us, got to be different those Namibians.....LOL

Yep! Georg is right, we go back one hour next weekend, Sunday night... then we are on the same time as the UK.

The bastard thing is that we lose 4 hours of business a day with ZA, 1 hour in the morning, 2 hours lunch time (1 each side) and then 1 hour in the evening.... sad thing is 95% of all business in Nam is done with ZA, but the boys on top don't get it.....

Will be very lost next week with our Deukom (German satellite) tv programmes as there is so much moving, 1 hour forward and then another back and my programme is printed in SA and it has there times on it.  Who needs a beer with all this moving about...

Once you have  changed the time to winter, you will be 2 hrs off UK not the same...... LOL

The following applies then

i.e Noon in Nam

= 10 am in UK
= 11 am Germany

Britain Noon 12:00,

I battle with  being  punctual for  work  at  best   for  most of  my  life .. the  thank goodness is  that i am rated not on clockwatching but ability so i am just left alone .. Our MD was told  years ago to stop being anal about me by HR manager ... " see he has no clock ..if  involved or busy with something or  passionate about a project  he will just carry on  not  observing  any  of  the  usual breaks  and only stop when he is  hungry  or  tired , will  spend till the  early hours  of  the  morning  creating  for  your  benefit  and  also  runs  a 24/7 operation " Time  shift by an hour ?? maybe it will  work maybe  not  my  adrenalin  for  the morning is  to  try  not  get  to  work  more  than  10 minutes "late" .. strangely  enough  other managers are allowed to  start 1/2  hour  early  and  leave 1/2 hour  early no questions asked .. hard as I  try I  just cannot  conform .............

I used to hate the time change as the evenings get so dark so early but lately I seem to be finding it incredibly difficult to get out of the bed in the mornings as it is so dark so at least from next week it will actually be an hour later and a bit lighter!
