Those photos brought back memories of making the rosettes for each sports day. I can clearly remember threading cotton through the crepe paper and then pulling it to make the round rosette. I was in Barnato. I can still remember most of the words to the Barnato song after all these years!

@Michael. There is a Berti Horak here in Secunda. Last I heard he was involved in the Military. Is it possibly the same guy??

Yes, we Horak's stayed in E10/11. I spent my first 12 years or so in that house! Great memories. Diana, where did you stay? I have a funny feeling it was just a house or two away. And Carl, Barnato definitely the best - I'm a green Barnatoin too!!!!!
The Berti Horak in Secunda probably related in the distant past, but not that I'm aware of. Great hearing from other Oranjemunders.
