heres a small notice about our daughter, caitlin.

she suffered a serious asthma attack this morning and has been admitted to the red cross childrens hospital rondebosch .she is at present in the icu andis being monitored and medicated. she will proberly be in icu for a day or so then move to a general ward.

i ask all to keep her in your prayers andfor a speedy and full recovery,

Hi Chris..... I had Asthma very bad as a kid...... always landing up in steam tents in the hospital...... the positive thing was I eventually outgrew it.......

Hope everything is well with Caitlin, Chris.  Thinking of you and your family and praying for her. 

This is scary  -  my daughter Susan also has astma  -  had to speed her to hospital in June last year also.  When this happens the astma pump does'nt even help  -  they have to be admitted to hospital.  Sometimes there is no warning of an attack coming on  -  one minute they are fine and the next moment they can't breathe!

Please let us know how she is doing  -  give our love to her  -  give yourself, Val and the other kiddos a massive hug from me  -  (I'm sharing your snotty hankies in this one  -  God only knows how many tears you can cry for your kids  -  and nowadays I somme cry for my friends kids as well)  -  I know how you feel.

Caitlin transferred to general ward 11 am. walking around and checking out the ward .going to see her just now.

caty in general ward doing well in with all babies no tv ,gets out of bed goes walkabout finds new friend closer her age with tv and joins her for evening.

Know exactly how you feel Chris,hope your daughters on the mend.
My eldest also use t get bad Asthma, but when we moved to Cape town we took her to a Homeopath,never looked back.
But nowone of her twin sons gets it, and it is so scary!!
