A Real Dumb Robber

This actualy happened to my Aunts friend here in Table View last Monday. We'll call him Paul'
Paul deals in watches he had imported some and was selling them from home. A man who answered an ad in the paper called to view said watches,suddenly the man pulled a knife and demanded the watches and Pauls wallet.Paul thought that as he was bigger than the man he would wrestle the man and get the knife,all the while shouting to his wife to call the police,which she did.Paul managed to get the better of the man who then ran from the house with Paul and his wife after him. When they got to the car they saw two other men in the car (the robber being the driver) and backtraked into the house locking the safety gate. On looking out of the window they saw the same man climbing back over the wall,he approached the safety gate asking ever so politely "Could I please have my car keys I left on the table". Paul was not going to return the keys so the man said he would wait for the police and make sure that they got his car keys back. The police duly arrived and asked the man for his ID which he produced with much confidence.....well he had stolen the ID that very morning and had stuck a photo of himself over the owners photo with prestick.During all the official stuff the man said he wanted his car keys back as Paul could come steal his car. Needless to say he was arrested as were his friends who were pushing the car up the road.
Believe it if you may this is true.

You gotta love AFrica...... Remember a few years back when all the gangsters in Cape TOwn marched, demanding rights and fair treatment from the cops.... unbeleivable....

and the one in Kimberley, where all the want criminals were invited to a hall for a party, they all turned up only to have the cops arrest them all, the cops had organised the bash...
